Our pre-season schedule has been very strange hasn't it

Interested to understand the thinking behind these sets of double headers (and whether this is a JHT thing or Manning's request) but it feels like we are a bit light on pre-season match minutes for some players and perhaps a friendly or two short compared to normal? We will see come the Millwall game I guess whether we are a bit under-cooked.

Frustrating also that with how the games have fallen Kvistgarden has not yet been able to have a run out, nor Schlupp or Diallo. And that Kenny and Mahovo seem unlikely to be available in the early part of the season. It may take us a few games to settle down at the start of the season.

Saturday will be instructive but right now I don't really have a feel for what formation we are likely to play or really what our style of play is going to be this season.
