I’m not convinced by our central midfield

Need Mattsson in and to be good. Nunez was awful at the end of last season, hopefully the motivated version is going to show up for this season. Kenny doesn’t seem likely to be able to stay fit. Wright is decent, but this is his first full season.

Don’t think any of Forson, slimane, marcondes and Schwartz are really proper central midfielders.

Doubt there’s a side that’s ever done well in the championship, or any league really, without having a strong central midfield.

Maybe the change in manager plus addition of mattsson will be transformational, it needs to be.
