I agree, plus.....

I feel if we play LG1 and LG2 type teams it gives us a chance to scout some players in a semi real game.

TBF the foreign trips are more about intense training camps away from family and friend type distractions.
Also full control of nutrition and drinking/bad habits leading up to the season.
