Perhaps he is waiting for the right thing

My point is more he doesn’t seem desperate to move. The fact that he’s trained all summer and is still playing friendlies suggests he’s willing to bide his time. If the window ticks down and his options reduce he might be happy to stay rather than just move on for the next payday
