Cheap Eurostar tickets.

I found this site today for booking last minute tickets, within the next two weeks. (Not just the next two weeks, silly). You kinda book a morning or afternoon/evening session and will be told your departure time 48 hours before. So would suit the independent/casual traveller. Very cheap though and part of Eurostar
