i'd be happy with the front half of the team as it was in the first 45 mins

the problem was the way we sat back in the second half and couldn't clear from our goal area.

I'd play Hargreaves just behind gerrard and lampard to shore up the defence and play rooney on his own up front. A bit of a risk with only one striker, but i think sven took so few strikers because he knew we could get goals from midfielders. Lampard, gerrard, cole and beckham are all capable of scoring from distance.
