The Jamaica game wasn't about experimentation and neither should it have been

It was all about proving fitness, getting the team working together and building confidence in a fairly competetive (to a point) game. Other pointless friendlies were where the experimentation should have been done, but were used mainly to try and prove that Gerrard and Lampard could play together in a 4-4-2 - at which they clearly failed.
