Point of order re asylum seekers

In 2024, the UK received 108,138 asylum applications (including dependents), an 18% rise from the year before. However, the UK continues to receive far fewer applications than many European countries, such as Germany (243,835 applications in 2022), France (156,455) and Spain (117,945).
