Understood, but I won't (and never will) use technology to help get the answer

When I do General Knowledge Crosswords, it's fair game to use Encyclopedias, Almanac etc if you have them in the house. Can't Google or use Wikipedia.

The use of Dictionaries for Wordle is on those rare occasions (1 in a 150 say) when brain is frazzled and you are either spelling something wrongly or are checking a word - that you think you know - actually exists before entering as a guess on Wordle. So I think it's legit. Would never look for electronic help.
