The Doc has absolutely no business being in the worst ever NCFC 11. None at all. The fact he has been selected is a gross miscarriage of justice, and flies in the face of any rational analysis of his contribution to the club vs others. Some people must have a very false memory of that time, and/or a mistaken understanding of a history they didnt live.

Yes, he played for us at a difficult time, probably the lowest point any of us can remember in terms of our overall fortunes. Yes, his efforts as a striker left a lot to be desired. But he was most definitely one of the better players from that bleak era. Let's remind ourselves, that included winning POTS, with two wins by authentic club legend Hucks either side.

How is it even remotely possibly that a past POTS winner can be one of the two worst CBs we've ever had?

This decision needs to be reopened, and if the wrath authorities do not do so, then I fully intend to take this to the Criminal Cases Review Commission. And if they're not interested, I will write to the lead singer of Echo and the Bunnymen.
