Yeah I must admit the 90s at The Blue Jean Co were my favourite period of doing the shops. Just kind of fitted in with my take on clothing, music,going out etc.
The whole thing with Norwich Camping and Leisure was that they somehow had got the nationwide contract with Quiksilver (no C, I once got told off by a 10 year old surf kid that my sign was wrong at a Newquay Boardmasters meeting we had a stall at) to receive all of their returns, over-orders, seconds etc. They had to take in everything so sometimes ended up with 500 pink large t shirts, or one green headband. They’d get it for a discount. Quicksilver once sent us our order and then duplicated it by mistake, we had to send it off to NCL, knowing that they were getting the same new items as us but for 30% off. Ah well.
