If you mean with that specific reference then not sure. It seems to have fallen out of favour.

Even more out of favour was the ruling for that Hearts Player (Webster?) which meant a player could buy out his contract after a certain number (four?) of years if there wasn't a release fee. There was a flurry of it happening but I assume they've just developed a form of contract to avoid it.
