Sorry, but that’s bulls**t.

The whole politics of envy stuff is just painfully reductive. Many people work incredibly hard all their lives and never get rewarded. Mostly in public service. It’s like the whole ‘ I’m aspirational and make sacrifices to send my kids to independent schools’. Plenty of people are aspirational for their children and make sacrifices and could never send their kids to independent schools. I’m glad it worked out well for you, as it did for me, but others have very different experiences.
