We’d been looking forward to seeing him

had booked hotel etc like you say and i fell asleep a couple of times it was dull.
Seen a few stinkers before but that one stands out, felt like he was getting be clever and seemed to forget people were there to be entertained and have a good night, sure others did and it’s down to personal experience but i was surprised.
