Re Brexit

Due to staff shortages, companies are hiring poor, low skilled people, giving them training, paying higher wages and better working conditions - rather than hiring someone from abroad who already has the skills.

That's a big reason why poor, low skilled people voted for Brexit and they are seeing some benefits. They also want affordable housing, low NHS waiting times, an NHS dentist, a decent state pension, to be able to get their child into a good local state school.
