VAT on women’s sanitary products issue is a case in point.
I worked in the EU parliament over a decade ago as a consultant on the CAP reform. We found hundreds of errors or issues in their policy documents and advised them on this. The whole time there the feeling of the team was they don’t care what we tell them with everybody coming back to the uk with negative feelings about the set up.
So you can be pro EU all you like but to say that we were listened to and a major player is just fantasy.
100% agree with you on the migration points and also my personal opinion is that a referendum should never have been held as the general public voted mainly on that one issue and had no education about the full positives and negatives of the EU.
