Shed Seven were excellent, but I think they struggled to win over those that were specifically there for James.
James were superb. First time for me since seeing them in a marquee at a festival 40 years ago which I can barely remember as they were hardly known and I wasn't that fussed.
The sound quality of the venue was excellent. I guess modern tech has eliminated the poor sound of outdoor gigs
