wrath of the book club - what are you reading at the moment?

i'm reading "Sword" by max hastings off off the torygraph. it's hastings take of things from a british point of view as they prepare and train and eventually storm the normandy beaches. most of the 35,000 or so men had never seen combat before. an impulse buy in that delightful independent and quirky book emporium tucked away in a leafy corner off of pound lane called sainsburys.
