or just that there are a sufficiently large number of men who have transitioned to come to dominate women's sport, absent the ruling?

It's been a very effective wedge issue mobilized originally by the US right, and then that spread over here. And swallowed by Telegraph readers.

As for "You probably still think that trans women [men] are women" - well, that's just like trying to have a complicated conversation with an 8 year old.
