it's quite funny actually

the adalynn is part of russia sanction busting "shadow fleet" used to ferry russian oil around the world to sell, at a loss to energy thirsty countries like china india and turkey. the reason they sell at a loss? market forces and sanctions have driven the price of russian oil down but in some cases they have to sell at a loss as if they don't keep the oil moving through the refineries then they will clunge up and never be able to resurrected. the shadow fleet is thought to be around 600 vessels strong in numbers.
