I don’t think either will happen though. In Iran, I think Israel will either push the Iranian leadership into a corner and they’ll look to negotiate. Or they’ll take them out without US help leading to regime change and then Trump will get involved with giving the Iranian people “freedom” so he can seem like he was involved and the saviour.

Only thing that would change the above, for me, is if the Iranians are stupid enough to attack a US base in the region, which I don’t think the IRGC are stupid enough to do, but one of their dodgy offshoots may be…

I thought you were quite pro helping Ukraine, so the above stance surprises me a bit. Not allowing Iran nuclear capability is more important imho than the Russians having parts of eastern Ukraine. My reasoning being if Iran gets Nukes, we are one transfer away from a rebel group getting hold of one.
