No that kind of enhances my view.

Again I absolutely do think they make a difference but its not as big as everyone thinks including SD and Club owners.
They are even fooled by this myth.
Some are not fooled but are happy to see the coach take the blame for their poor decisions.

The best coaches will use the players they have to the best of their abilities and organize well in a pragmatic style.

Alex Neil did well until he didnt and was sacked.

Alex Neil was sacked while in 8th place, more or less the same position Neil Adams resigned in.
Both having being relegated from the PL the previous season.
