Or are you talking total football spend, inc wages etc, but ignoring promotion bonuses (obvs)?

I can't believe we had the third biggest budget that season when three of the teams (or more) had parachute payments behind them.

For a start, the scum must have had a massive wage bill after buying up the whole of the Sunderland reserve squad.
