Feels like scaremongering..

given that they're making almost no progress against a much smaller country right on their doorstep. The chances of them successfully invading us would appear to be virtually zero given the length of supply chain. The threat they pose will be from cyberattacks rather than physical invasion (well, unless the US joins in on their side, which would have seemed ludicrous a couple of years ago).
