Post Heysel the worst hooligan excesses were dying down. So from then until the Spice Boyz of Liverpool wore their white suits and OUTRAGEOUS money made it impossible for all but the mega rich to compete.

Of course this coincides with my teens and early 20s and was our best ever period so perhaps my specs are rose tinted
