What makes you think Zoe Webber isn't good at her job?

"Nephew Tom" is a director, he's not part of the executive committee running the club. And if you read his CV, he actually seems well qualified for the role of a director.

Boards don't actively run the club; that's the job of the executive committee members. What would be the issue with weekly zoom calls? That's probably more often than the vast majority of boards of large corporates meet.
