Is football boring now?

Possession v position? Long ball or “pragmatic”? New manager. “Philosophy” (it’s not a philosophy, FWIW), “project”, buzzwords. Endless analysis, commentators thinking they’re the entertainment, pundits thinking they’ve just discovered a universal theory, the polarisation and financial inequality and utter unfairness of the professional game (and wider world, but that’s another matter). Are you not entertained? Is this not what you wanted?
