Thorup was said to be his choice since joining wasn't he?

So to say he has no plans last time isn't right. Besides that, I don't understand this need to rush an appointment.

We don't have any games. Other leagues aren't finished yet (so not everyone that may be wanted is not yet available) and this is always a time where players are off on holidays so transfers are typically slow (although we seem to be close to Wright and progressing getting Dobbin back).

We're told by the end of the month and I think that's a reasonable time frame to talk to people and get someone in place.
