For me, JHT came across as the one trying to hold things together in a room full of disengaged players and awkward silence. These are professionals paid millions — the very least you'd expect is that they show up properly in meetings. Fair play to the club for showing that, though. Dire indeed.

Wilshere and Knapper, on the other hand, looked completely out of their depth — pacing around like nervous sixth-formers giving a mock presentation. McLean is an awful motivational speaker.

The rot clearly runs deep. Apathy on the pitch reflects deeper structural failings. That video, to me, revealed a club adrift — not just a coach unfit.

Again, credit to the club for showing it, warts and all. Let’s hope for a brighter summer.
