Sydney van Hooijdonk returns

Norwich City will face Dutch top flight side NAC Breda in a Carrow Road friendly this summer.
Breda are set to travel to Norfolk as the Canaries shape up for a Championship play-off push in the 2025-26 campaign, when the visitors will hope to stay up again in the Eredivisie.

The aptly-named Yellow Army are currently 16th in their league table, securing their survival yesterday when relegation rivals Willem II lost to Hercules at home.

The game means a return to Carrow Road for Sydney van Hooijdonk, who signed an 18-month contract with the club where he came through in the winter transfer window.
