The playoffs....not random.

We have all the data, even if managers like Wagner chooses to ignore it.
In virtually all sports....the better teams tend to win at a higher clip than lesser teams.

If you look at the recent March madness CBB tournament.....virtually no upsets in a total knockout tournament (no two legs)

All the higher seeds made it to almost exactly where they were supposed to.

OK, so how is this relevant to NCFC...

Well, the goal should NOT be top 6....the goal should be top 1-4 if we want to have a realistic shot at promotion.
The chances of a team who scraped into 6th spot going up are very small.
If anything the betting markets underestimate the chances of the better teams.
