I thought I pretty much knew the whole story, but I learned so much more.

I think my favourite fact is that they made a cinema release film about the disaster within WEEKS and it starred an actress who actually survived the sinking.

She even wore the same dress she had on, for the production.

My least favourite fact is the story of a lad who celebrated his 16th birthday on the boat and he was given a pair of trousers as a present to replace the shorts he had been wearing on the boat up to that point.

When the lifeboats were being launched, he was considered a man - and he went down with the ship 😭
