All the secrecy is a bit weird

I know as fans we all think it will be Wilshere, but by now if an appointment was going to happen today you'd have at least one national journalist / media channel breaking the news beforehand?

And if it was just an interview with Knapper, why all the secrecy? We all know he will probably do an interview at some point now the season has ended (the PinkUn guys have basically already said he will at some point), so it's hardly the sort of thing that needs to be hush hush or given a big build up.
