i think the major networks carving up tv coverage is the main thing

so there is no one single catch all provider of all games so each network/platform has some games albeit prem league, champ league, championship, international etc so if you are a footy nut you have to multi subscribe and they can then price fix as they please.

anyway, that's arsenal oot and to be fair they are not good enough. retire arteta.
