my advice next time is

If you have your car serviced regularly is to take out a Service plan ,pay monthly and you get the service a percentage cheaper and sometimes the MOT is chucked in free ( well its not free but you dont pay on the day )

no idea if thats expensive but i pay £41 per month for a yearly service and MOT for a A class mercedes locked in for 3 years
