In hockey I always have music very loud for warm up and training sessions, its been researched a lot and proven to enhance performance and training levels and stops training becoming flat. The players get to create the playlist at the start of the season. Interesting that they didn't use it before as I've not come across a hockey team that trains without music in the past 6-7 years.
