Badenoch is basically a caretaker leader, my prediction was that she would go

after next year's set of locals and I still think that's right. She's at sea politically and has a knack of never judging an issue correctly. But, whoever is Tory leader last year and this is going to take a kicking. So if I were a Tory (I'm not) I'd leave her in place another year, really make sure she's the lightning rod, then get rid summer next year, unveil the new one at Conference ideally and crack on.
