JHT's style of play was clear when he was hired. Knapper not only brought into it but it was likely the reason that swung the deal. Both however saw the problem that the current squad needed to be refreshed to embrace that style. That would take time (let's call it a transition period). During that period results were likely to be variable. Also not all the dressing room and backroom staff would take to the new approach and dissent was likely. No problem said Knapper I've got your back...
