That's the major problem.
I think if we had seen major development/growth of talent then they would have stuck with him.
But it all got desperate at the end with him reverting to playing as many senior players as he could.
Even those he knew would not be here next season.
Maybe he was smart enough to see the writing on the wall and just went for results.
Made all the talk seem like bollocks.
Results and performances were dire but my feeling is if he would have tried to bring in a ton of youth players for the last few games and explained that he would still be here.
Sutton should also know when you lose the crowd it's hard to come back from.
Everything appeared exactly as it was, inexperienced and disjointed.
