... The way Pele takes the pass on the edge of the area, looks like he has all the time in the world and works the ball out from under his feet to roll it across to Carlos Alberto is magnificent.

The other amazing thing about that Brazil goal is that it's not just technically brilliant, it's incredibly direct - once the ball is out of Brazil's half they don't need to go backwards to go forwards, they just work relentlessly and directly towards the Italian goal.

I hate people who bang on about Brazil and the Beautiful Game but for me it's perfection (or pretty damn close).
