As it is though, the main problem we have is a squad that looks completely disinterested, playing a system that is very easy to play against and offers minimal attacking threat. Those main issues sit entirely with the coaching team.
Good managers are very good at managing people; motivating them and getting the best out of them. They can hire coaches to do the training and tactical bit. Paul Lambert is a good example, he was not the brains behind our formations etc, but he was a very good motivator.
Managers can moan about sporting directors if they're getting everything they can out of the squad and it's still not good enough. JHT didn't earn that right.
