Old Man disagrees

If the objective is to establish ourselves in the Prem then a lot of things need to fall into place. Too many to do all in one season. So, call "Norwich established back in the Prem" Point B and "where we are now" Point A. Do a plan. I mean call it a programme if you like but it's the same difference.

The real world will intervene and changes to the programme will be needed as time goes on but if you don't set an objective and a direction and start doing All The Things that you need you'll end up nowhere.

Realistically you simply can't get from Here to There in just one year. It probably is a five-plus year thing. But "let's just do better than last year, this year" is not enough.

Well that's Old Man's view anyway, other views are available.
