I don’t think it’s necessarily the players to blame

JHT is a Pep disciple and believes we should always play out from the back with multiple passing moves, regardless of the abilities of the players available.
This does not work, look at Gunn - a decent Championship keeper reduced to a panicking mess when he is asked to pass his way out from the back.
