What's your realistic alternative?

It's easy to say "oh no, it isn't good now so it never will be" or "I don't think this project will work", but realistically if you're a Champs team without parachute payments the odds are strongly. against anything you do succeeding (short of throwing tens of millions of pounds at it which isn't going to happen). So giving this a chance to work (and judging a multi year project after one year is surely the height of stupidity).
For what it's worth we've probably played well more often this season than we did in Farke's first year, and most of the 'signs of future success' in Farke's first year were really only noticed with hindsight when it was known to have ultimately succeeded. They weren't very visible at the time of the end of that first season.
