Absolutely not

I love Russell Martin as a persona and a player but even when he took Southampton up, they were poor. In a better season, that squad under his management would have finished mid-table. Christ, even we made it into the play-offs with some of the worst football seen here in a long time. Taking Southampton up that season really wasn’t the achievement it appeared to be.
