when i was stationed there you could get in for a quid with my id card and it (layer rud) was literally 2 minutes from my married quarters on menin rd. swift couple of bears in the drury arms (now sadly a sainsbury's local) before the game and back home for tea and medals. used to go quite regularly with a liverpool and a leeds fan from my unit, happy days.

so, not no apparent reason then. i clearly didn't understand the assignment.
