Yeah more availability of seats together would be a big thing

Sometimes the missus wants to come sometimes the son does but I can't do that unless the very nice couple next to me aren't going which is a very rare occurrence (I've let them have my seat in the past and they let me have theirs when they can't go).

Calling the ticket office saying can I give up my seat and buy one more so I've got two together somewhere doesn't really seem to work as most availability is singles.

Then as you say you turn up and see several sets of two or three seats you could have had in reality. It does grind the old gears.
