I know people like having a new car but I’ve always paid cash for higher mileage better

Brands. 3 years ago I bought a E220 estate, 9 years old with 150k , £7k. Brilliant car that also looks presentable. I’ll replace it later this year with another one but 2017/18 for about £10k and sell mine for £5k. I think you lose so much on a brand new car, maybe look at year old ones. Also a couple of friends swear by leasing them and have sent me news of offers from companies like LeaseLoco or Leasing.com. Often far cheaper than from the main dealer’s finance companies and the car still ends up being supplied by the same dealer.
