Yes they would get loads.

Ireland (1994) aren't even part of the UK FFS.

Maybe they wouldn't get quite as much but thats simple economics - there are a lot more Englishmen than, say, Scots so the media have more incentive to cover them. It doesn't say anything about attitudes or arrogance as Scots love to believe.
