oh I don't mind that

it's just the insular mentality of our northern friends that gets irritatingly boring.

It all stems to their upbringing I guess. Are English kids taught about all the medieval wars etc we fought? Nope. Act of union we instigated...nope.

Although to be fair we have had a long history since then of togetherness. But there will always be a secret 'love to hate the English' mentality.

Braveheart didnt help either.
